Battle Stance - MM Style by Lalam24 Battle Stance - MM Style by Lalam24
Basic information:
The figure was sculpted using Super Sculpey, and painted with Modelmaster acrylics. The joints are a compilation of Revoltech joints, Hobby Base joints, Kotobukiya ball joints, and scrapped joints from figures I hadlying around. The figure itself stands almost EXACTLY 4 inches tall. The face is removable, allowing for different expressions (of which I have yet to sculpt), a long with his hat, allowing for different, more dynamic posing effects. He currently has 6 incherchangeable hands; 3 for his right, and 2 for his left.

Full description of how the figure was assembled:

So Jelly :D
He's rockin the Razor sword aswell! Have you thought about boosting the shine/gloss of the eyes, sword & shield with a adding a thin layer of adhesive or something more appropriate for that effect nodoubt lol.
Either way great job! :)

Anime eyes, to me, tend to look better with matte coats, as you're already putting on a white sheen for the "shine" effect.  Either way, the figure's out of date and I'm currently making an entirely new version.

Cool! :) I grew up with Ocarina of Time, played it together with my parents and my brother. Still keeping up with the Zelda games. And my dad would love a sculpture like this! :D

Dude, that is AMAZING! The fact that you sculpted it YOURSELF! The resemblance to Link is perfect! It looks like an official action figure! The paint job is amazing (especially for the shield). The whole thing is simply stunning! In short, I want it!

Joints AND removable pieces, on a hand-sculpted figure? Incredible work, seriously!

Keep in mind, I didn't sculpt the joints themselves; the clay was worked around duds, so almost every single joint, in the end, had to be glued on/pegged in.

Here's a description of what, and how they were used:

Poor Gundams. :( But they were sacrificed for a good cause. I'm going to have to pass this method along to my sister. She's been wanting to do a jointed sculpture, but she's been trying to sculpt the joints herself. WAY harder than using "borrowed" ones.

Haha, thankfully most of them were older/outdated kits. In fact, a lot weren't even used on the kits -- simply extra pieces on the PC templates.

Oh yeah, I remember how the kits come with all of those extra pieces! I stuffed them all in a plastic bag. XD But that's good recycling, to use them in a sculpt.

Majora's Mask. After beating Goht in Snowhead, go to the workshop in Mountain Village and they'll reforge your sword for 100 rupees. The catch is that after 100 hits, the sword goes back to normal.

Sweet! I did not know it looked that badass. Usually I don't bother to do the sword upgrade, 'cause I hardly ever finish a whole area in the three days anyway.
